ZeroShell is a Linux server distribution web administrable and aimed at providing the main network services a LAN requires:
Kerberos and x.509 authentication, LDAP and RADIUS authorization, routing,
bridging, VLAN 802.1q management, VPN lan-to-lan and host-To-lan, support
for authenticated WI-FI access with WPA and WPA2 by using RADIUS server, DNS and dhcp server, syslog server collector, virtual server, cross-authentication by using Kerberos 5, Captive Portal to access to the network using weblogin (Internet Hotspot), NTP server, PPPoE for xDSL connection, dynamic DNS client.
The distribution is now available in the form of LiveCD or Compact Flash image for embedded network devices.
The image size is 103MB.
ZeroShell 1.0.beta2 is now available for download in the form of iso leve cd image. The main new feature is the possibility to create Captive Portal for HotSpots.
